The Chaos logo appears on a back wall as the scene opens to what appears to be a small Press Conference. You can see a few Wrestling and Sports Magazine Journalists standing down in front of the stage where a long table is setup with a Podium in the center. Finally from behind the stage comes James Lars, Owner of Chaos Wrestling and he nods and greets a few of the journalists as he approaches the podium.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we will bring out the New Champions here in Chaos Wrestling. They will speak some and then we will take questions. Please give a round of applause for Jason Cashe and Johnny Evil, our Mayhem and Chaos Champions!"
Clapping as he turns to the right, cameras begin flashing as pictures are taken. First appears Jason Cashe and the Mayhem Championship sits draped over his shoulder as he takes a seat at the table. James Lars looks confused and nods over at Cashe wondering where the Chaos Champion was at.
"Where is Evil?"
Cashe, just shrugging in response has no microphone nearby to give a verbal answer. Lars looks out at the media who have come to ask questions, give Chaos some publicity but he seems a bit nervous at the missing Champion.
"Well then I guess we only have Jason Cashe here for the time being. Let's go a head and get started..."
Grabbing some index cards, James Lars stays at the podium as he gets ready to introduce the first new Champion.
"Tonight we are here to celebrate the first Champions of Chaos Wrestling. This is a dream of mine to have a place that stands alone in unique style and creativity and I believe so far, we've done this here in Chaos. With the site of our Base to the matches we have had, we are trying to establish our names as the definition of different. Not the same trends and copies you see every which way you turn your head but our own originality."
Slightly turning towards Cashe, Lars points over and again cameras flash as the Mayhem Champion smiles small and nods to those in the room as Lars goes into the Champion.
"When Jason Cashe was looking for a place to compete, I thought it would be a long shot that he'd give something new, something so young a shot at filling that need. Decorated in the years he has competed, he is known in many sides of the world as a tough Sonofabitch and I knew Chaos could prosper from that! That long shot happened, he came in not only because of the money but because he got along with Johnny Evil and the transition just worked. Not once since he arrived did he ask to be involved in a Title match, he just wanted to work. As an owner, you can't ask for better talent than those willing to work instead of asking for hand outs in a new promotion!"
Changing index cards, James Lars turns and looks to see if Johnny Evil has arrived yet as the Event Manager shakes his head no at the Owner staring with concern. Clearing his throat, Lars goes back to moving things along.
"His work ethic was why he was placed in the Elimination Tournament turned Ironman Match at "Origins". He had just competed in 4 Corners Wrestling in a Fatal Fourway Ironman Match and part of me knew he wanted some form of redemption so he was happy to say the least when he seen the new card up. Now fast forward to today and he not only won his Tournament match but went on to win the whole match and is NOW the NEW and FIRST Chaos Wrestling Mayhem Champion! I give you...Jason Cashe!!"
The whole room begins clapping as James Lars steps back and Jason Cashe gets up from his seated position and moves over to the Podium. Cashe removes the Mayhem Championship and shoves it into Lars' gut, not even asking him to hold it first.
"Yeeeeeeeeoooooo!" He says leaning ever so slightly towards the microphone.
"So I'm here to talk about being the Mayhem Champion. That's the gig I was asked to fill and here I am. I didn't prepare a speech or anything on what it means to be a Champion. I have done it over and over again and while a few are higher valued to me personally, I won't bore anyone with the "feelings" on what it means to be a Champion. I AM a Champion with or without a belt to label me as such. I've proved that time and time again. What I will talk about is how from day one I've said that I didn't come to Chaos to win titles. Coming to a new spot like this, you get peons like Focus or Santee who are more bark than bite. Why seek to be a Champion over the likes of them when even if they had the Title, I could sneeze and fart and beat them both? It's not value to just HAVE a belt, to be a Champion. No...It's only of value when you are a Champion and DEFEND it against the best around."
As he turns and grabs the Mayhem Championship back from James Lars, Jason Cashe is interrupted by a Reporter in the crowd.
"Cashe! Cashe! So does that mean you don't value the Mayhem Championship? How do you feel about Chaos as far as talent on the roster goes because this might be the biggest "Easy Button" you've had in your career and on Twitter you have spoken out against those seeking that very thing...Care to comment?"
Lars raises his hand to comment on the Reporter asking questions before the new Champion has finished his speech but Cashe cuts him off. Waving down Lars, Cashe nods and slaps his own chest before speaking.
"I got this Lars!"
Looking out to find the Reporter who spoke out, Cashe finds him and nods before answering his question or questions.
"Do I hold Value over this belt right here?" Holding up the Mayhem Championship, he shows it to the crowd.
"To answer your question....No...I don't hold this with much value at all."
A few reporters gasp as Jason Cashe tosses the Mayhem Championship to the side like it was garbage. James Lars doesn't flinch as if he knows what is happening next, a grinning smile fills his face as he reaches down and picks up a box that looks like a Sniper Rifle Case but thicker. He places it across the Podium in front of Jason Cashe and pats him on the back shoulder.
"That was a Title meant for peons. Meant for people like Focus or Santee or anyone else who TRIED but FAILED at defeating me and taking the prize for themselves. No, you see for me? I wanted something more if I'm going to put MY NAME, MY REPUTATION on the line to not just defend it but CARRY it period. So with that said..."
He unlocks the case and lifts the lid. From it, he removes a new belt, one customized to fit his liking and his purpose for the Title. He holds it up for the cameras and media to see and take pictures of.
"To me Mayhem doesn't mean Hardcore or Extreme and I know that's what this Title looks like it represents. No, no, not at all what this baby means! Mayhem is a violence that doesn't NEED weapons to make someone bloody! Mayhem is pain, it's hurting someone no matter if it's by the hands on your wrists or the surface you smash someone into. Mayhem represents the kind of competitor I am and have been. Someone who doesn't take pity on anyone inside that ring. It means that I bring Mayhem the very MOMENT the bell rings and it doesn't stop until I make the opponent unable to continue. THAT is Mayhem and THAT is what this Title now represents. Now as for this Chaos Roster? Heh..."
"HOLD IT!! Wait just a god damn minute!!"
Everyone's head turns as a curly haired man comes rushing up onto the stage. A few reporters call out his name and Jason Cashe instantly knows the man as Perry Wallace. The owner of 4 Corners Wrestling where Jason Cashe has been competiting for the last year plus. Stopping next to Cashe, Wallace slaps down a folder onto the podium before offering Cashe a pen.
"What the hell man? You see me in the middle of a Press Conference! What are you even doing here?"
"Tidus told me you'd be here and him and I finally came to an agreement. Everything you asked for and what he wanted as well. All of it...just sign it!"
Offering the pen, Cashe looks down at it before turning his attention to the folder on the podium. The reporter who had spoken out before, once again makes his presence known.
"What is it you want him to sign?"
Smiling, Cashe begins nodding as he snatches the pen from Perry Wallace. Opening the folder, he begins looking at the details, more scanning over them than reading each line but the jist of it is exactly what he wanted and more. Cashe leans forward to sign but then stops. Looking at Wallace, Cashe turns back and gives James Lars a long stare..The Chaos Owner motions like he'd like to know what was going on. Cashe turns back to the podium and signs a few times on a few pages before shutting the folder. Wallace is smiling so big, his whole mouth of teeth are showing as he begins to dance a jig on stage.
"What was that question? You wanted to know what I just signed? Lars back here seems to want that answer too! Looks like the introduction of the new Mayhem Championship wasn't the only Announcement being made here tonight. Now I am officially EXCLUSIVE to 4CW..."
"WHAAAAAAT!?!"
James Lars erupts with a loud shock. The Reporters stick microphones closer to the stage as the questions come pouring in by different people. You can't hear many of them clearly but Cashe isn't listening for more questions as he holds up a hand to calm things down.
"What does that mean for the Mayhem Championship one might wonder? I'll gladly defend it...IF Lars can get permission from Perry Wallace here...He will handle any and all bookings in cooperation with my Agent, Tidus Howe."
"Then I hearby strip you of the Titl--" Lars says it as he goes to grab the new Mayhem Championship from Cashe's shoulder. Cashe shoves him back with a stiff arm to the chest.
"I think NOT Lars Bars!! I won this Title, I beat all you've thrown in my path other than Johnny Evil and he's not even fucking HERE right now!! You want to take this belt from me? Go a head...take it! That's the ONLY way I'm handing this belt over. Strip me of the status in Chaos if you want but this baby here? It stays right where it lays now. On my shoulder...Talk to Wallace if you want me in a Chaos ring again, I'm OUT!"
Wallace bouncing in place, watches James Lars as Jason Cashe and HIS Mayhem Championship leave the stage. Lars approaches Wallace and the two are so close, they could kiss and hug as they whisper back and forth. The cameras in the room flash repeatedly as the scene ends.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we will bring out the New Champions here in Chaos Wrestling. They will speak some and then we will take questions. Please give a round of applause for Jason Cashe and Johnny Evil, our Mayhem and Chaos Champions!"
