Beautiful, lush green grass acts as a blanket across the ground, broken up in a regular pattern by gravestones. The somberness of the cemetery stands in stark contrast to the beauty of the day. Blue skies and bright sunshine bring fond memories of summer afternoons. The camera moves down a few rows of the stones before making a left. A handful of headstones down sits Chaos Wrestling newest signee, Wes Hartley. Wes is squatting in front of a grave after having dropped some flowers. He is dressed in blue jeans, a black tshirt, a black baseball cap, and black boots. Wes is in the middle of a conversation when the camera begins to pick up his voice.
Wes: ...and here I am now, coming to talk to you about this opportunity.
Wes stands up and looks to the sky before continuing.
Wes: So, I know that you never liked me fighting, but I did it to help you. And I did help you, until that snake took the money we all made for him and closed the doors, leaving us to figure out everything for ourselves. But not before I was crowned a champion. Not before I got you into that clinical trial. I just wish I could've kept you there. I wish I could have saved you.
Wes' voice cracks with emotion.
Wes: But I've taken my time. Almost 2 years. I've been away. I've tried to be normal. I've tried to work a job where I have to wear a suit. It doesn't work for me. I've mourned for you this whole time, but I'm done now. I fought for you last time. This time I'm fighting for myself. This time I'm fighting to prove to everyone I'm the best. And I'm starting in the desert. That's right, I'm heading out west to Nevada this time. There's this new place called Chaos Wrestling. They have a spot out in the desert. Sounds like a different place, but who am I to judge? I'm still relatively no one is this business, but that will change. It starts July first.
Wes stands and stares at the headstone for a few seconds before turing and walking away from the camera. The camera then turns to the headstone which reads:
